Start-Stop battery to reduce carbon emissions

Start&Stop batteries are one of the top products exhibited at Mutlu Battery’s booth. Start&Stop batteries manufactured by Mutlu Battery for ensuring fuel economy and reducing carbon dioxide emissions are produced in two types which are the EFB (Enhanced Floating Battery) and AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) batteries. EFB batteries possessing concentrated energy have been designed for use in all vehicles with Start&Stop feature. These batteries are floating type batteries just like the standard ones. Thanks to its reinforced internal structure, it has a 2 times longer service life compared to a similar battery in the same capacity. The AGM technology is specifically designed for use in advanced Start & Stop vehicles. It’s a VRLA (Valve Regulated Lead Acid) AGM (absorbed glass mat) type, which is the peak point reached by lead acid battery technology. It has higher starting power and life resistance than standard floating batteries thanks to this new technology.

Tomorrow’s Technology: Lithium-Ion batteries

The Lithium-ion batteries, which are developed by expert engineers at R&D Centre of Mutlu Battery located at Tuzla production plant was also a center of interest during the trade show. With increasing demand for hybrid vehicle technology, which is becoming more and more popular all over the world due to their environmental friendliness and less fossil fuel consumption, vehicle manufacturers have started to prefer lithium-ion batteries. Having used not only in hybrid cars, but also in vehicles in the industrial sector, such as home energy storage, renewable energy, UPS, telecom and forklift, Lithium-Ion batteries are also regarded as environmentally friendly because they are used in vehicles that aim to reduce carbon emissions.

Lower volume more energy

Lithium-Ion batteries, which have higher energy densities than the standard batteries, can store more energy than the standard batteries, despite of their lower volume and weight. Lithium-ion batteries have a longer life than lead acid batteries.

Brand Finance’s “Turkey’s most valuable 100 brand” list prepared based on accessible financial data and analyst observations related to brands operating in many different industries in Turkey, has been published.

Mutlu Battery, took the 71st position in general rating and was chosen as the most valuable brand in Turkey’s energy storage industry. Mutlu Battery, occupying the 91st position in 2016’s rating, has managed to climb up 20 steps within a year.

Mutlu Start-Stop Batteries with Maintenance-free Product Technology

Start&Stop batteries manufactured by Mutlu Battery for ensuring fuel economy and reducing carbon dioxide emissions are produced in two types which are the EFB (Enhanced Floating Battery) and AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) batteries.  Mutlu EFB batteries possessing concentrated energy, have been designed for use in all vehicles with Start&Stop feature. These batteries floating type batteries just like the standard ones. Thanks to its reinforced internal structure, the Mutlu Start Stop batteries have a life cycle of up to 3 times more than a battery with same capacity, a fast recharging feature and up to 40% higher performance.

Providing awareness in the topics environment, sustainability and climate change with his activities up to date, Mutlu Battery carried out a new project this time through the TEMA Foundation for the afforestation of Turkey and prevention of erosion.

Mutlu Battery started to afforest 12,5 hectares of land with 20 thousand Turkish Pine and Cypress saplings through the TEMA Vakfı in the Çatalçam region of Çanakkale.

Mutlu Battery, who as a result of a business partnership with Warner Bros. obtained the licensing rights for using the superheroes of the film Justice League, that will reach the cinemas in November, gathered great interest from the participants with its stand at the fair using the characters Superman, Batman, Wonder Women and The Flash. Within the scope of the licensing agreement, the superheroes will be used by Mutlu Battery for its communication and marketing activities in Russia under the motto “Heroes Never Run Out of Energy”.
